Evelyn Virginia Cook

Evelyn Virginia Cook, age 97, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Tommy Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Praise Tabernacle Church Cemetery in Powder Springs, Georgia.

Born in Dallas, GA, Mrs. Cook had lived all of her life in Cobb County. She was a Domestic Goddess, and loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. When she wasn't attending to her plants and sewing machine, she was in the kitchen cooking delicious meals for her loved ones. She looked after others before taking care of herself. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Edward Cook, in 2014.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters, Cholie V. Falls, Austell, GA and Joan E. Clark, Dallas, GA; Sister, Sylvia Robertson; Brother, Lamar Hall; Grandchildren, Gregory Nathan (Sharon) Falls and Gabriel Lee (April) Clark; Great Grandchildren, Nathan Alex Falls, Madison LeAnn Clark, and Grayson Lee Clark.
