Eunice Everett Alexander, Jr. (Junior), of Acworth, GA, was born in Jonesboro, LA on September 22, 1952 and lived there until 1977. He passed away on April 23, 2019 in Atlanta, GA. Junior was a 1970 graduate of Jonesboro-Hodge High School and a 1977 graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a B.S. in Accounting. After working for a public accounting firm and Ford, Bacon and Davis in Monroe, LA, he spent 25 years as a financial analyst at Graphic Packaging International and its predecessor companies in both West Monroe, LA and Atlanta, GA. Junior is survived by his daughter and her husband, Amanda and Clint Hester, of Douglasville, GA, who have been his primary caregivers since 2016 after he suffered multiple strokes and ongoing seizures as well as vascular dementia. He is also survived by his grandchildren, who he adored, Brooklyn and Rocco and his sisters, Joyce Hausgen of Quitman, LA and Janice Templeton of Jonesboro, LA and several nieces and nephews. Junior was preceded in death by his parents, Lorene Holland and Eunice E Alexander, Sr. Junior was an avid poker player and loved the North Georgia Mountains. He loved to visit the apple orchards and pass apples out to friends and family. He could grill the best steak you ever put in your mouth. The family would like to acknowledge their special friend, Kevin Glenn, who spent many hours over the past several years taking Jr. places after he could no longer drive and spending countless hours helping Jr. in any way he could.
