Eugene Franklin Wilson

Eugene F. Wilson, age 81, of Hiram, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta. Interment will follow at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton with Military Honors and Masonic Rites.
Born in Alpharetta, Mr. Wilson lived most of his life in Cobb County before moving to Hiram. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and later retired from Lockheed-Martin where he worked as an industrial photographer. Mr. Wilson was a Mason (Lodge 721) and attended Kennesaw First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Timothy Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Ina Wilson; children, Karen Wilson-Hord and husband, Shelby of Powder Springs, Gregory Wilson and wife, Shirley of Lanett, AL and Phillip Wilson and wife, Christy of Douglasville; brother, Hoyt J. Wilson of Dallas; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, from 5pm-8pm.
