Erica Renee Pruitt

Erica Renee Pruitt was born on May 29, 1980 at Mitchell County Hospital in Camilla, Georgia. She was the first born of Rodney and Sheila Pruitt. She was a graduate of Monroe High School, Albany Georgia. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Albany State University, an MBA in Human Resource management from Troy University, and a PH.D Organizational Leadership and Effectiveness from Argosy University, which concluded her education. She entered the career world where she made a significant impact on the success of different corporations. 

Erica departed this life on Monday September 9th, at WellStar Kennestone Hospital. She leaves to mourn parents Sheila Pruitt (Mother) and Rodney Pruitt Sr. (Father), brothers Rodney Pruitt Jr. and Akeem (Alexis) Pruitt, beloved nephew/Godson Caleb Pruitt, nephews AIden, Tyrek, Zakari, and Kalum Pruitt, beloved niece Chloe Pruitt, and a host of other relatives, friends and co-workers. 

Erica was beloved by her entire family and many dear friends. She quickly became a favorite of everyone she interacted with. Her warmth, generosity, dependability, friendly disposition, and determination to defend those that she loved, will be sorely missed. Her departure has left a void in her family that can never be filled by another, however we know that God loves her more and she is now safe in his arms.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.
