Mrs. Emma Jean Johnson, age 69, of Dallas, GA passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2011. Funeral Services will be held 11am on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Trinity Chapel Church of God with Pastor Howard K. Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. She will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the service.
Born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL, Mrs. Johnson lived in New Jersey for many years before moving to Marietta, GA 16 years ago. She recently moved to Dallas, GA. She earned her Master’s Degree in Education from the College of New Jersey, and retired from the Pemberton and Willingboro Public School Systems after many years as a teacher. Mrs. Johnson also taught kindergarten at Trinity Chapel Academy in Powder Springs, GA from 1998 until 2003. She was a member of Word of Faith Catherdral in Austell, GA.
