Emalee Marie Collins, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away on May 22, 2017 at Children's Hospital of Atlanta (Scottish Rite) surrounded by her family and friends. Emalee succumb to her illness after a long, one year battle with a type of cancer known as "ganglioneuroblastoma". Throughout her battle, Emalee had to endure multiple surgeries and endless treatments in her fight against this disease, and she fought HARD! She showed us strength most adults don't possess that was both encouraging and inspiring! We are all so fortunate to have had Emalee in our lives. And although she is no longer with us in body, her spirit and infectious laughter will live in our hearts forever, and for that we are thankful! We can all take a lesson from Emalee on what it means to be strong in the face of adversity. Emalee faced cancer head on and fought with everything she had to give and tought us all what it meant to live #emaleestrong!
