Elvira Farmer, age 99, of Mableton, Georgia passed away September 7, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta with Steven Unti officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Atlanta. Mrs. Farmer was preceded in death by her husband Roy Farmer and daughter Kate Lyon Farmer.
Mrs. Farmer was a native of Atlanta, GA and had lived in Mableton, GA the last 10 years. She was a member of Paces Ferry United Methodist Church in Atlanta. She loved to cook, bake, shopping and spending time with her loving family.
Survivors include: daughter: Jeanette Farmer McCain, two sons: Roy Donald Farmer and William Curtis Farmer; seven grandchildren: William D. Farmer, Robert W. Farmer, David L. McCain, Stacy A. Farmer, Linda L. McCain, Shiloh L. McCain and Russell L. McCain; eight great-grandchildren: Brett A. McCain, Brandon P. McCain, Kaitlyn L. McCain-Hunter, Kinsley B. Angle, Hailey N. McCain, Lawson G. McCain, Cooper G. McCain and Aaron Farmer; four great-great grandchildren: Braylon K. Thomas, Aiden T. McCain Hunter, Maleah N. McCain Hunter and Milo A. Farmer and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
