Elvin Eugene Swann

Mr. Elvin Eugene Swann, age 85, of Powder Springs, GA passed away Friday, October 20, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, October 22nd at Calvary Baptist Church in Powder Springs with Rev. Snyder Turner and Rev. Dewayne Swann officiating. Mr. Swann will Lie In State one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Burial will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens.
A native of Atlanta, Mr. Swann moved to Powder Springs 54 years ago. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War. He worked as a television technician for W.T. Grants for many years, and was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in Powder Springs. He enjoyed fresh water fishing, bowling and big game hunting.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church Missions Fund. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5pm until 8pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road SW, Marietta, GA.
