Elsie Alma Dahlberg

Elsie Alma Dahlberg, 90, of Smyrna, GA, formerly of Manchester, NH, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, October 13, 2012, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA with Dr. Cindye Coates officiating.
Born in Germany, Mrs. Dahlberg moved to Georgia 6 years ago from Manchester, NH. She was a retired bookkeeper with Hermsdorf Fixture Company and Agway. Mrs. Dahlberg was a member of Solomon’s Porch Family Worship Center in Marietta, GA as well as the First United Methodist Church in Manchester, NH. She volunteered at many nursing homes in Manchester including the VA Nursing Home and was a member of the Masonic Order of the Eastern Star, Beauceant and White Shrine.
Survivors include her daughter, Heidi Dahlberg Hunt of Smyrna, GA; son, Eric Ernest Dahlberg of Bremerton, WA; sister, Erika Limmer of Germany; grandchildren, Leah Hunt of Atlanta, GA, Jesse Hunt of Smyrna, GA, Brett Dahlberg of Honolulu, HI and Mara Hunt of Novi, MI; niece, Martha Young-Donohue of Manchester, NH and nephew, Thomas James Young of Bethlehem, NH.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12pm until the service time. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org . Online guest book at westcobbfuneralhome.com.
