Ellen Tatum

Ellen B. Tatum, age 89, of Marietta, GA passed away Monday, October 2, 2017. A Celebration of her life will be held at 12pm Thursday, October 5th at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Michael McPherson and Rev. Thomas Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born in Fairmount, GA, Mrs. Tatum moved to Marietta in 1953. She worked as a credit manager for Grants and Sears, then became a Real Estate Agent for over 40 years. She was proud to have attained membership in the Million Dollar Club for multiple years, and had won the Phoenix Award. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association, and of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Acworth. Mrs. Tatum also enjoyed playing Bunco in her later years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, C.C. Tatum.
