Ellen Louise Leftenant was born to Raymond and Cora Bell Harrington on February 26, 1946 in Greenville, NC; she fell asleep peacefully on August 13, 2016.
Ellen met the love of her life Louis Leftenant Jr. in Amityville, NY and they were married on Nov 18, 1979. Ellen truly loved and trusted in Jehovah and started studying in 1979, she then dedicated her life to Jehovah in April 1980. She served as a full-time Pioneer for over 25 years and no matter where she was, she preached the word of Jehovah. She loved to sing Kingdom Songs, Dance and make people laugh.
Ellen will be missed as a Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin and Friend, but most of all she will be missed as a servant of Jehovah. Those who will miss her most are her Children; James Miller (Angee), Lorenzo Leftenant (Sadie), Debbie Miller, Anthony Leftenant (Donna) and Ada Miller. 12 Grandchildren; Angelina, Joseph (Melissa), Andrea (Jason), Michael, Anthony (Ashley), Wendy, Lorenzo, Ameshia, Rashad, Ali and Kel. 22 Great Grandchildren; Leigha, Ahnesti, Paris, Toyier, Isaiah, Tatiana, Jaclyn, Amiyah, Jazz, Jaila, Zakiyah, Marley, Janiah, Londyn, Zekayden, Jason, Aden, Logan, Sydney, Janay, Bryson and Amir. Sister; Ruby Snowden, Sisters-in-law; Karen Sibley (John) and Doreen Fulcher (Milton). Nieces and Nephews; John, Pam, Eugene, Dawn, Darren, Archie, Eric (Kerstein), Kenneth, Henry, Lisa, Louis, Adrian and Melissa. Aunt; Louise Short. Cousins; Jan, Louise, Tracey and Kim. Extended Family; Camille Cavallo, Grace Townsend, Jodie Stanley, Pam Owens, John, TC, Elijah and Maya, also a host of family and friends too numerous to mention and especially the East Powder Springs Congregation.
Ellen was also preceded in death by her Husband; Louis Leftenant Jr., Sister; Ada “Randy” Miller, Brother-in-law; James Leftenant and Grandson; Anthony B Leftenant Jr.
