A celebration of life for Mrs. Elizabeth Caralu Self of Cartersville, GA will be 11:00am Saturday, October 22, 2016 at New Life Apostolic Church 1560 Hwy 411 Cartersville, GA with Rev. Matt Walker officiating.

Mrs. Self was born March 22, 1950 in Griffin, GA and passed from this life on October 19, 2016 in Cartersville, GA at the age of 66. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a friend to all who met her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jehu Self; parents, Buford and Lorene Darby; two sons, Frankie Wheeling and Lamar Wheeling; one daughter-in-law, Januarie Nicole “Nikki” Wheeling; one grandson, Luke Wheeling; one sister, Jackie Jenkins; two brothers, Doug and Don Darby;

Survivors include one son, Trevis Wheeling & girlfriend Robin Grant of West Monroe, LA; one daughter, Nikki Whaley & husband James of Chatsworth; grandchildren, London & Victoria Hancock of Chatsworth, Will Hancock & wife Maddie of Kennesaw; Jeremiah, Levi, Allison, & Carson Wheeling all of West Monroe, LA; Emily, Lauren and Allie Kate Grant of West Monroe, LA; Zach, Nicky, and Nathan Whaley of Carrolton, GA; Chuck Dotson of Ringgold, GA, Wade Dotson of Marietta, GA; Jennifer Smith, John Wheeling, Brittani Chappell and Tommy Wheeling all of Cartersville, GA; Jessica Wheeling of Marietta, GA, Caira Daies of Ft. White, FL, Kellie Rinker and Kayla Rinker both of Jacksonville, FL and Chris Rinker; one brother, Jerry Darby of Cartersville; one sister, Diane Cannon of Glendale, AZ; also survived by ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
