Edwin Marshall Smith, age 82 of Smyrna, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 11 at 2 pm in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Chaplain Mike Cronin officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Smith was a machinist at Lockheed Martin for 37 years before retiring. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Tillman Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Smith and is survived by his loving daughters: Karen & husband, Mike McLane of Marietta and Marcie & daughter-in-law, Tammy Smith of Smyrna; grandchildren: Jeremy and Barbara McLane of Marietta; niece, Deborah Culver of Smyrna; nephew, Mike Bottoms of Marietta and several great nieces & nephews.
