Edwin Randall Balinger

Edwin Randall Balinger, age 74, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Monday, November 21, 2022. A Celebration of His Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.

A native of middle Tennessee, Mr. Balinger lived in Marietta, GA for over 25 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, and worked as an Accountant for most of his life. He was very involved as a Leader with the Cub Scouts, and a Quartermaster with the Boy Scouts. He was an train model collector, and loved radio controlled cars, planes and rockets. Mr. Balinger was also a history buff, and a University of Tennessee Volunteers Fan.

Survivors include: Wife of 46 years, Marla Morgan Balinger; 2 Sons, Morgan Randall Balinger, Atlanta, GA, and Duncan Neill Balinger, Atlanta, GA; Brother, Anthony Balinger, Cleveland, TN.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edwin Balinger's memory to the American Kidney Foundation. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
