Edward M. Miller

Edward M. Miller, age 75, of Marietta passed away Monday, December 16, 2013. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 5 pm in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta. The family will receive friends from 4 pm until the service. Inurnment will be at the Union Cemetery in Brewton, AL on Saturday at 2 pm.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Eleanor Lenney of Marietta; children: Linda Miller of Foley, AL; Sidney Pennington of Foley, AL; Vincent (Kristen) Miller of Foley, AL and Joanna (Herman) Wood of Marietta; sister, Malinda Cook of Atlanta; 6 grandchildren: Caymen Russell, Daniel Pennington, Bella Miller, Jordan Madison, Logan Madison and Mattie Wood; nieces and nephews: Scott (Sarah) Cook, Carson Cook, Jack (Monique) Cook, Emily & Rose Cook and Andrew (Tracy) Cook.

Mr. Miller was born in Brewton, AL, graduated from TR Miller High School and attended Southern Miss. He was of the Christian faith and lived most of his life in Atlanta. He owned and operated Miller Construction but his passion was Alabama Football.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Ed Miller’s memory.
