Edward "Eddie" Eugene Karr went to be with our Lord on June 10, 2022, at the age of 63.
Eddie was born on September 20, 1958, in Atlanta, Georgia. After a long career in the beverage business with Coca-Cola and S.E. Atlantic Corp., he retired after his second employment with Coca-Cola. His expertise ranged from the warehouse to distribution management and logistics executed by excellent people skills. In his younger years, interests varied from racing motorcycle enduros and water skiing. As time progressed, his passion gravitated to bass fishing, boating and deer hunting as an outdoorsman. Eddie enjoyed working with his hands and had a niche for making or repairing items in his tool shop. Additionally, drawing was an artistic ability that he discovered early in life and continued throughout. Also, his intrigue with the Civil War made him very knowledgeable with the facts surrounding this historical time frame.
Eddie was married to his high school sweetheart, Mala, for 43 years. He is survived by his children Eleyna Vernon (David), Lauran Demby (David); grandchildren Hunter, Blake, Aleigh, Caleb, Jacob, and Savannah; mother Virginia Karr; siblings Mike Karr and Gina Goddard; and numerous other family members and friends.
Eddie was predeceased by his father C.E. "Gene" Karr, Jr.
