Edward Fox, 85, of Kennesaw, GA, formerly of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on April 20, 2020. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 12, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, Marietta, GA, followed by a life celebration at Lost Creek Clubhouse, 345 Lost Creek Drive, Kennesaw GA, immediately following the mass. Please remember, covid-19 regulations will need to be followed, including the use of a mask.
Born July 23, 1934, he is preceded in death by his loving wife Marlene of 60 years, and parents, Andrew and Marcella (Boehmer) Fox of Cincinnati, OH. Ed is survived by his two daughters, Julie Nichols and husband Mike and Amy Kachel and husband Ivan. Ed had two grandaughters, Katie Nichols and Emily Kachel.
Ed and Marlene started their married life in Dayton, OH, where he was a hardworking salesman for over 25 years, winning many accolades and rewards. Ed’s favorite pastime over his life was boats, owing at least 11 over his lifetime. He was able to accomplish his dream and built a new life on Marco Island, FL, where he could boat and fish year-round. It was there where his wife, Marlene and he had a successful bed and bath shop for 11 years. However, after the second grandchild was born in GA, they decided to move closer to their growing family.
Ed was very dedicated to his family and was loved by many whose lives he touched.
