Edith Emelda Jimenez Tejeda, 57, of Kennesaw, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday, September 26, 2011, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Born in Santo Domingo, Domincan Republic, Edith moved to Kennesaw in 2005 from New York. She was a homemaker and a member of Iglesia Misionera in Marietta. Survivors include her children, Priscilla Tejeda of Kennesaw, John Mark Tejeda of New York City, Elizabeth Tejeda of Kennesaw, Aida A. Rosario of Kennesaw and Angela V. Rosario of Kennesaw; mother, Lorenza Jimenez of New York; sister, Sylvia Jimenez of Kennesaw and Alejandrina Miguel of Kennesaw and grandchildren, Michael Baker, Jiovanni M. Tejeda, Alexander M. Tejeda, Arianna Wells and Elisah Jimenez. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1pm until the service.
