Doyal M. Crump, 84, of Smyrna, passed away on Friday, January 11, 2013. The family will receive friends at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta on Sunday, January 13, 2013, from 4pm-6pm.
Born in Gordon County, Mr. Crump moved to Smyrna 57 years ago from Calhoun. He retired from Lockheed where he worked as a research mechanic for 37 years.
Mr. Crump was a member of Smyrna First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Glennice Moore Crump; children, Randy (Kay) Crump of Marietta and Sharon Crump (Ron) Maccini of Sacramento, CA; siblings, Vera Barton of Calhoun and Donal (Lora) Crump of Calhoun and grandchildren, Shara-Sue Crump, Mark Crump, Michael Maccini and Melissa Maccini.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to WellStar Community Hospice @ Tranquility, 4040 Hospital West Drive, Austell, GA 30106 or Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, 1687 Tullie Circle NE, Atlanta, GA 30329.
