Dorothy Horner Lawless

Dorothy Horner Lawless, age 89, of Marietta, GA passed away peacefully at Wellstar Community Hospice at Kennesaw Mountain on Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Friday, May 24, 2013 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dr. Robert Horner and Dr. Steve Orehosky officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
A native of Birmingham, AL, Mrs. Lawless moved to Cobb County in 1963. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta, and was an avid Auburn Tiger fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert W. Horner, Jr., and spouse, James Lawless.
Survivors include: 3 Sons, Dr. Robert (Mary) Horner, Dahlonega, GA, Glenn (Kathy) Horner, Powder Springs, GA and Gary Horner, Marietta, GA; 7 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and special friend, Ruthie Brown, Marietta, GA.
Donations may be made to Wellstar Community Hospice.
The family will receive friends Friday morning from 11am until 1pm at the funeral home.
