Dorothy Ann Johnson

Dorothy Ann Johnson, 52, of Marietta, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011. A memorial service will be held at 12pm on Friday, September 16, 2011, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Pastor Grant Cole officiating. Born in Pittsview, AL, Mrs. Johnson moved to Marietta in 1994 from Colorado. She was employed with Home Depot. Dorothy was an artist, loved to design and sew clothing and was also an avid reader. Survivors include her husband, Larry Johnson; son, Ernesto Ramon Johnson of Marietta and siblings, Steve Harris of Las Vegas, Maryann Leonard of Phenix City, Lessie Matthews of Atlanta, Willie Bell Sheffield of Decatur, Barbara Raynor of Covington, Peggy Richardson of Columbus and Jackqueline Wimberly of Columbus. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11am until the service.
