Dorothy Ann Hardy

Dorothy (Dot) Ann Bell Hardy of Marietta, born January 11, 1937, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home with Reverend Dean Hunter officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Samuel (Sam) Hardy; one son, Samuel “Bo” D. Hardy Jr. and his wife Anne; 2 precious grandchildren, Caleb Andrew Hardy and Moriah Sarai Hardy; 2 sisters, Jean (Buddy) Stephens of Alto, GA and Annel Martin of Marietta and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, R.S. and Gladys Bell; sister, Freida Webster and nephew Tony Webster. Dot was a member of E-W Church and a past member of Bolton Baptist Church. She graduated from West Fulton High School in 1955. She retired from Kroger as a Demo Clerk and had been a substitute teacher for Cobb County.
