Doris Ella Tamplin May, age 89, of Marietta passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012. Funeral Services will be held 2 pm on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Reverend Brad Rednour officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, Marietta.

Mrs. May lived in Cobb County most of her life. She was a member of Grace Pointe Church, formerly known as Crestview Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Frank May, Jr.; parents, J.B. and Ella Tamplin, children, Virginia Lynn May-Smith and Doris Ella May and grandson, Donald “Shakey” Smith and brothers, James, Boyd, Lynn and Leon Tamplin.
