Doris Christine Brown, age 88, of Marietta, Georgia passed away October 2, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mrs. Brown was a life long resident of Cobb County. She loved going to the beach, gardening, watching the birds and squirrels. She loved looking after family, friends and cooking for everyone.
Survivors include: four children: Kathy (Sam) Akers of Kennesaw, GA, Freda (David) McNeeley of Alabama, Jimmie Lee Brown of Marietta, GA and Glenda Buchanan of Marietta, GA; four grandsons, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
