Doris A. Alexander

Doris A. Alexander, age 91, of Oakwood, Georgia passed away June 13, 2023. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Floyd Road Baptist Church in Austell, Georgia with Rev. Keith Collins officiating. Interment will be held 11:00 am Monday, June 19, 2023 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband George Thomas Alexander, her parents Harvey and Pauline Fleming and her brother Charles Fleming.

Mrs. Alexander was a native of Atlanta, Georgia, had lived in Cobb County before moving to Oakwood, Georgia. She was a member of Floyd Road Baptist Church in Austell, Georgia.

Survivors include: son: Wayne (Gay) Alexander of Hoschton, GA; two granddaughters: Stephanie (Jason) Sigler of Atlanta, GA and Dawn (Sean) Doyne of Brasleton, GA; five great-grandchildren: Hannah Sigler, JP Sigler, Jacklyn Doyne, Eva Doyne and Sara Doyne; two sisters: Jacqueline Roach of Marietta, GA and Helen Mullins of Deland, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Floyd Road Baptist Church in Austell, Georgia.
