Donnie E. Messer

Donnie Earl Messer, age 80, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Friday, March 5, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Alex Gallimore officiating.

A native of Kentucky, Mr. Messer moved to Marietta 53 years ago. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and retired from Lockheed after a career as an Avionics Mechanic. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in London, KY, and enjoyed watching NASCAR, Hockey and his beloved University of Kentucky Basketball.

Survivors include: 3 Children, Carolyn (Mark) Keheley, Dallas, GA, Tom (Emily) Messer, Chuluota, FL and Susan (Jeff) Burge, Canton, GA; 3 Siblings: Tim Messer, Eddie Messer and Sue Campbell; 5 Grandchildren, Rachael, Matthew, Ethan, Ariel and Chloe; 4 Great Grandchildren, Zander, Izabella, Atticus and Elliott
