Donnie Edward Garrett Sr.

Donnie Edward Garrett, Sr., age 60, of Acworth, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dwight Garrett officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 8:00 am until 10:00 am prior to the ceremony at the funeral home.

Born in Canton, GA, Donnie worked for 30 years in cemetery maintenance for several cemeteries, including Rolling Hills, Pine Ridge, Greenlawn, Georgia Memorial and Cecil Price Grave Services. He is preceded in death by his son, Donnie E. Garrett, Jr. in 2011.

Survivors include: wife of 40 years, Karen Lynn Garrett; 4 children, Stephanie Garrett, Patrick Garrett, Katie Garrett and Brandi Garrett; father, Harold Garrett; 2 brothers, Dwayne Garrett and Dwight Garrett.
