Donna Gresham

Donna Gresham, age 74 of Dallas, Ga., passed away on Tuesday Oct. 5, 2021. She was born to the late R.L. Watkins and Annie Louise Watkins on Sept. 11, 1947 in Marietta, Ga where she resided for most of her life. Donna attended Sprayberry High School in Marietta where she was a member of the girls basketball team and graduated in 1965. She was a member of Hill Street Baptist Church for many years.

She worked at Lockheed Martin for 43 years. She loved her job and made many friends there throughout the years. She retired from Lockheed in 2012 to spend more time with her family especially her 4 grandsons whom she loved very much. She enjoyed being outside, going to the beach, and coaching girls softball for many years.

She was preceded in death by her father, R. L. Watkins, her mother, Annie Louise Watkins, and her Son-in-law, Stacey Rymer.

Donna is survived by her 2 daughters, Dana Rymer and Denise Elliott both of Dallas, Ga; 4 grandsons, Drew Elliott, Cody Rymer, Austyn Tschantz, and Ayden Rogers all of Dallas, GA; 1 sister, Patricia Johnson of Marietta, Ga; 1 nephew David Jenkins and his wife Mia of Cornelius, NC; 2 great-nieces Breana Jenkins of Chicago, Ill and Amanda Jenkins of Charlotte, NC. 2 cousins Becky Maynard and her daughter Melissa both of Floyd, Va; Suzanne Motes of Athens, Ga and her 2 sons Michael Wilson, and Scott Wilson of Hull, Ga.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA. Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, October 11, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta with Rev. Jack Henry officiating.
