Donald W. Carter

Donald W. Carter, age 97 of Smyrna, passed away June 3, 2015. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Carter formerly lived in Pittsburgh, PA and Sunny Hills, FL before he called Georgia home. He owned and operated Westgate Drafting Service from 1956-1980. He and his wife, Helen, enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, square dancing, bowling and ceramics. He was a proud father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. He was of the Protestant Faith and a member of Sunny Hills United Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Carter is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Helen V. Carter and is survived by his five sons: Mr. Donald L. Carter of Shanksville, PA, Dr. William E. Carter of St. Augustine, FL, Mr. James C. Carter of Pittsburgh, PA, Mr. Dale M. Carter of The Villages, FL and Mr. John A.
