Donald George Kessler

Donald George Kessler, Sr., age 84, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 3pm on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Brian Tillman officiating.
A native of New Jersey, Mr. Kessler moved to Georgia in 1978. He worked as a builder for most of his life. He also was a certified antique clock repairmen, and was a volunteer fireman in Allendale, NJ. Mr. Kessler was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean War, was a former member of the Elks Club in Stone Mountain, the Senior Citizens Carving Club, and helped charter a Presbyterian church in Pearl River, NY.

2 Children: Lee D. Hilling (Brian), Dallas, GA

Brother: John Kessler, Maywood, NJ
5 Grandchildren: Brian Hilling, Jr. (Eileen), Travis Sean Hilling (Alexis), Christian Michael Edward Kessler, Jesse Royden Kessler, and Alexander Sean Kessler
Great Grandson: Sean Michael Hilling
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1pm until 3pm at the funeral home.
