Donald Thomas Brown, age 80, of Marietta, Georgia passed away October 19, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 22, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. with Pastor Darrell Johns officiating. Interment will be held 2:00 pm Monday, October 25, 2021at Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery, 20241 Green Spring Road, Abingdon, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Preston Brown and Verna Mae Osborne Brown, two sisters Stella Mae Ulselton and Georgia Ann Lewis, four brothers Clifton (rabbit) Brown, Johnny Brown, Albert Brown and Steve Brown and one grandaughter Ashley Nicole Brown.

Donald was born in Abingdon, VA on October 8, 1941. Donald was a Veteran of the United States Army in the 4th Armored Division. After his discharge from the Army he went to work at General Motors in Cincinnati Ohio, he transferred from General Motors in Ohio to the Atlanta plant which he retired from. After his retired he went into business for him self building houses. Donald also loved to play his guitar.

He is survived by seven children. Susie Quinn, Donald Brown Jr., Angie Brown, Kim Robinson, Michael Brown, Destany Brown and Earl Brown. 16- grandchildren Lindsey Burdett, Joey Busby, Sarah Salazar, Josh Brown, Amanda Quinn, Justin Schell, Brittney, Loren Brown, Brianna, Chris Brown, Tate Quinn, Meghan Stephens, Morgan Brown, Courtney Marshall, Phillip Reeves, Emily Quinn.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
