Donald Blackburn

, Mr. Donald Lopez Blackburn, age 87, of Dallas, GA passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 in the chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Mark Blackburn and Mr. David Blackburn officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw, GA with military honors. The family will receive friends from 11am until 1pm prior to the ceremony on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Born in Canton, GA, Mr. Blackburn moved to Dallas, GA 15 years ago from Lawrenceville, GA. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served for 4 years. He owned and operated Blackburn Pest Management for 10 years. Mr. Blackburn attended the First Baptist Church of Atlanta, was a member of the Lion's Club, and also enjoyed fishing, gardening and reading.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sandra Camp Blackburn; 2 sons, Mark (Lisa) Blackburn, Dallas, GA and David (Cary) Blackburn, Peachtree Corners, GA; 5 siblings, Jerry (Jennifer) Blackburn, Larry (Carol) Blackburn, Kathy (Gene) Metzger, Linda (Mike) Patterson, and Jimmy (Cathy) Blackburn; 6 grandchildren, Nathan (Lydia) Blackburn, Katie Blackburn, Rachel Blackburn, Eli Blackburn, Joshua Blackburn, and Jonathan Blackburn.
