June McKee Woodruff

June McKee Woodruff, 90, passed away peacefully on 11/11/23 in Kennesaw, GA, where she resided for the last 6 years. Born in Blue Lick, Kentucky on April 21, 1933 to Archie and Gertie McKee of Foster, KY, June graduated from Bracken County High School and married Don Woodruff in 1953. After spending significant time in Ft. Thomas, KY, Tantallon, MD, St. Louis, MO and Birmingham, AL, they retired in 1997 to DeBary, Florida. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Don, her youngest son Kent Woodruff, and her great granddaughter Riley Grace Woodruff. June leaves behind her son Steve (Cyndi) in Acworth, GA, her daughter-in-law Tamara, grandsons Grant and Rhys in Texas, Sean (Corinne) Fennelly and great grandchildren Abby and Ethan in Florida, Grayson Woodruff in Tennessee and Blaine (Katie) Woodruff in Tennessee as well as her sister Cheryl Frye and family in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. She will be dearly missed by her family and by many friends she made throughout the country and will be remembered for her gratefulness, kindness, positive attitude, humor and the ability to laugh at herself.
