Dolly Janet Griswell

Dolly Janet Griswell, age 73, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away August 1, 2021. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. She was Preceded in death by her son Jeffery Scott Dean, mother Helen Ruth Shore, sister Judy King and brother Robert Shore.

Dolly a native of Ohio has spent the last 25 years in Cartersville, GA. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cartersville, GA. She retired from the Cobb County Sheriff's office as a LPN after 20 plus years of service. Dolly loved to read, spend time at the beach, tell stories and especially spend time with her loving family.

Survivors include: daughter: Sonya (Nicole) Dean of Rockmart, GA; son: Chad Raymond Dean of Rockmart, GA; brothers: Wayne (Marcy) Shore of Dallas, GA, Kevin (Shaun) Shore of Dallas, GA, grandson: Donovan Sadler of Marietta, GA and several nieces and nephews.
