Diane Bell Sakacs

Diane Bell Sakacs, 72, passed peacefully in her home on May 4, 2023. Diane was born December 10, 1950, to loving parents TJ Bell and Hazel Robinson in Bremen, Georgia. Diane was one of four siblings, including Jo Bell Livingston, Alan and George Bell. Diane attended Lithia Springs Elementary and went on to graduate from Douglas County High School in 1968. She was blessed with four children, and when she met Dennis Sakacs in 1984, she knew it was the family it was always meant to be. She found a partner and best friend. Dennis and Diane married August 17, 1985, and have been a close-knit family ever since. This year would have been 38 years of marriage.

Diane was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, board games, watching movies, but loved spending time and being with her family most of all. She will be most remembered for her kindness, witty sense of humor, and loving heart.

Diane was preceded in death by her father.

Diane leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband Dennis Sakacs; her children: Brett Whiteside, Leslie Elrod (Mark), Kris Travitz (Kristi), Kari Brooks (Corey); her bonus children: Tracie and Tony Sakacs; grandchildren: Jonathan Elrod (Abby), Kristen Blevins (Blake), Tristan Travitz (Ashton), Taylor Rose Brooks, Cameron Brooks, Matthew Whiteside and Amanda Sakacs; great-grandchildren: Blakely Elrod, Logan Blevins, and Sarah Lee Knapp; and extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 2:00pm at West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00pm.
