Diana Ashleigh Scott

Diana Ashleigh “Dee” Scott, age 29, of Atlanta, GA passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 4pm on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Mike Stephens officiating.

A native of Cobb County, Dee graduated from Paulding County High School, where she was a tremendous athlete and lettered in volleyball, softball, track and basketball. She attended the University of West Georgia, and played on the Jr. Olympic Volleyball Team. Dee also attended church at Faith Evangelical Methodist Church in Douglasville, and Buckhead Baptist Church.

Aunts: Debbie Turner Story and Dana Lynn (Roddy) Shirey
Uncles: Walt Harp and Jim Harp
Cousins: Derek Warren, Denyea Shirey, Daryl Shirey, DeAnna Story (Scott) Byers, Darrin Story, Roxi Harp, Rachel Harp, and Cameron Harp

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses. After all funeral expenses are covered, they wish donations be made to your local animal rescue organization.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5pm until 8pm, and Thursday from 2pm until 4pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
