Derry Peacock

Henry Derry Peacock, age 79, of Austell, Georgia passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Randy Cape officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton with Rev. Richard Peacock, Jr. officiating.

Born in Chattanooga, TN, Mr. Peacock lived in Austell for most of his life. He retired in 1992 from the BAC Local Union 8 after a long career as a bricklayer. He also loved carpentry, woodworking, hunting and fishing, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Austell.

Survivors include: Wife of 59 years, Sonja L. Peacock; 5 Children, Kenneth (Connie) Peacock, Gadsden, AL, Rhonda Peacock, Powder Springs, GA, Karen (Vince) Insogna, Gardner, KS, Renee (Chris) LeMieux, Alpharetta, GA and Keith (Lisa) Peacock, Marietta, GA; Brother, Richard Peacock, Dallas, GA; Sister, Glenda Underwood, Cartersville, GA; 13 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
