Derek Scott Ellis, age 52, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 29, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Gary Cox officiating. Cremation will follow.
Derek is survived by his parents, Arnold and Judy Ellis; sisters, Cathy Field, Lynda (Dave) Underwood and Lisa Patterson; brother, Todd (Debbie) Ellis; Derek's longtime girlfriend, Angel Stanfield and many nieces and nephews.
Derek will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and the entire community. He loved being outdoors, his music, Nascar and watching his favorite TV shows.
The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00noon until the time of service.
