Dera Doris Perkins, 83, of Brentwood, TN, formerly of Marietta, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Born on October 4, 1928 in West Point, TN, she made Marietta her home since 1952. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Kennestone Hospital for 30 years. She is survived by her twin sister, Myra Mangum of Blountstown, FL; children, David, Mike, and Diane; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, January 21, 2012, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park with Don Hamilton of Anniston, AL, officiating. The family will receive friends from 12pm until the service. Online guest book westcobbfuneralhome.com.
