Della Marie Cato

Della Marie Cato, age 82, of Dallas, Georgia passed away September 16, 2018. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.

Mrs. Cato was born December 28, 1935 in Ithaca, NY, moving to San Diego, CA when she was 8 years old. Mrs. Cato moved to Cobb County, GA. when she was 20 years old and lived in Cobb County until 8 years ago when she moved to Dallas, GA. She loved to dance, cook, read, and spend time with her family and friends. Mrs. Cato was an active member of Milford Baptist Church.

Mrs. Cato is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Brooks Thomas Cato. Survivors include: two daughters: Winona (Harold) Sapp of Macon, GA and Rhonda (Todd) Rosen of Dallas, GA; two sons: David (Ginger) Cato of Rockmart, GA and Gary (Colleen) Cato of Hiram, GA; ten grandchildren: Kyle, Taylor, Landrum, Amanda, Brooks, Marvin, David, Lisa, Crissy, and Becky; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 21, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Donations can be made to the Cobb County Animal Shelter.
