Deidra Baker

Mrs. Deidra A. Baker was born November 1, 1953 to the late Martin and Cornelia Baker in South Bend Indiana. Deidra A. Baker passed away on July 30, 2022 at the WellStar Cobb Hospital. She graduated from Riley High School in 1972. She also attended Ivy Tech Community College where she majored in Business Administration.

She moved to Atlanta, Ga in 1978 and later joined the membership of Mount Ephraim Baptist Church of Atlanta, Ga. Dee loved to travel, listening to music, dancing, her flower gardens and especially spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include: husband of 21 years: Curtis Barrett of Marietta, Ga: two sons: Delanoe Baker and Armond Taylor both of Atlanta Ga; three step-children: Alexandria Barrett of Jonesboro, Ga,Curtis Barrett Jr and Akeem Tennyson both of Marietta, Ga; brother: Martin E. Baker (Vickie) of South Bend, Indiana: two grandchildren: Omari Taylor and Shaelyn Taylor: sister-in-law: Jackie Sutton of Montezuma, Ga: brother-in-law: Imed Patman of Atlanta, Ga: a devoted cousin: Carla Anderson and a host of nieces,nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Family will have a viewing on Thursday, August 4, 2022 From 5pm until 7pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Ga
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 5, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Ga. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, Ga
