Deena Leigh Marshall Williams, age 62, of Hiram, Georgia passed away December 16, 2020. She was born May 9, 1958. She was preceded in death by her father Dewey L. Marshall, grand parents-Floyd and Ruth Wofford, John and Barbara and Ann Marshall.
Deena grew up in Dalton, GA and has spent the last 20 years in Hiram, GA. She graduated from Dalton High School in 1976 and attended Dalton College and Jacksonville State University. She was an administrative assistant for Osborne High School with the Cobb County School System for 25 years. She loved to play the piano, Deena very active in her church the House of the Lord Church in Marietta, GA, where she was in the music ministry and took the lead roll in all church functions. Deena loved the students at Osborne High School and she loved her Cardinals. She loved her church family very much. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include: husband of 42 years: Mike Williams of Hiram; son: Jeremy (Patricia) Williams of Douglasville, GA; mother: Patty Wofford Marshall of Dalton, GA; sister: Beverly Garrett of Dalton, GA; two brothers: Kendall (Michel) Marshall of Dalton, GA and Kelly (Stephanie) Marshall of Tallahassee, FL; two grandchildren: Sarah and Sam Williams of Douglasville, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Deena Williams's memory to the House of Lord Church, 3134 Macland Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127.
