Deborah Ann Estes, 58, of Marietta, passed away peacefully at her residence, “Camp Estes”, after an extended illness, Friday, January 6, 2012. Debbie left this world triumphantly with her best boots on and a shiny coat of armor. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 15, 2012, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Snyder Turner officiating.
Deborah had been employed as a Sales and Leasing Consultant with Capital Cadillac for the past 25 years. Every year since she had become eligible, Deborah earned Cadillac’s Top Sales Honor. During her first 15 years, she earned the prestigious Cadillac Crest Club Award for sales achievement and customer satisfaction. Each of the following 10 years, she received the Award for Excellence in Sales Achievement reaching the GM Mark of Excellence Award Program.
She served on the Board of Directors at Calvary Children’s Home, serving as the Secretary from 2000 until the present and was also active in the Annual Calvary Children’s Home Golf Tournament. Deborah spent much of her personal time helping raise support and public awareness for many organizations through their fund raisers.
Survivors include her sisters, Pam Roane of Alpharetta and Susan Roane Jenkins and husband, Lynn of Augusta; nephew, Jake C. Watts of Evans, GA and family members, James G. Jenkins and wife, Kim of North Augusta, SC, Taylor Jenkins of Augusta, GA, Lynn Jenkins, Jr. of Augusta, GA and Ashley Jenkins of Appling, GA.; the entire extended family at Capital Cadillac; and her beloved pets, Miss Annie, Cooper, Carlie and Fat Cat.
