David Brian Roper, age 46, of Acworth, Georgia passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating.
He was born December 20, 1973 in Marietta, GA, the son of Berry and Angela Roper. He was the oldest sibling of 3. David graduated from R.L. Osborne High School in 1992 and Chattahoochee Technical College in 2001, he also received his Georgia Real Estate License in 2008 as well as several other certifications during his life.
He is survived by his parents; Berry and Angela Roper of Marietta, GA, his wife, Grace Roper and son, Victor Roper of Dallas, GA; 2 sisters, Brandy (Allan) Whitaker of Dallas, GA and Sandy (Shawn) Wellborn of Hiram, GA; 2 grandmothers, Marlene K. Roper of Marietta, GA and Margot Thompson of Marietta, GA. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Arthur See, Jr., JB Roper and Gilbert Thompson and his uncle, Robert Roper.
