Born in Riverdale, GA, Mr. Rainey, grew up an Army military brat until he graduated high school and then served 6 years in the United States Air Force himself, living mostly in overseas assignments. During his military service, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, and later received his MBA from the University of Phoenix. David lived throughout the metro Atlanta area before moving to Smyrna 8 years ago with his wife Michelle. He worked for Porsche Cars North America headquarters for the last 19 years, escalating to his current position as the Manager of IT Services. David had a humorous spirit and wit, enjoyed playing golf and softball, loved techno music, and was an avid Atlanta Braves and Falcons fan. He was also of the Catholic faith. David was a silent giver with no need for praise, and even after his passing, he continues to give generously as an organ donor.
