David Shakib Merhi

David Shakib Merhi, age 75, of Mableton, Georgia passed away December 5, 2022. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his son Alex Merhi.

David was born in Beirut, Lebanon and has lived in Mableton, GA the past 50 years. He was of the Druze faith. He was a flight attendant with Eastern Airline for 30 years. He owned Airport Package Shop in Mableton and Merhi import and export. He loved spending time with his sons.

Survivors include: son: Ryan Merhi of Mableton, GA; sister: Fida Merhi; three brothers: Joe, Fousi and Fouad Merhi; four nieces: Remi Merhi, Hiba Merhi, Dima Merhi and Faten Merhi; five nephews: Ronnie Merhi, Ayoub Merhi, Peter Merhi, Ihab Merhi and Imad Merhi.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
