David W. Gibson

MSGT David Wallace Gibson, Sr., age 67, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Grant Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park with full military honors.



A native of Chattanooga, TN, Mr. Gibson moved to Cobb County 27 years ago. After graduation from Ooltewah High School, he served in the United States Air Force, retiring after over 20 years of service. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Troy State University in Alabama, and was a member of Connection Pointe Church of God in Austell. Mr. Gibson also loved to play golf and go fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Virginia Gibson, and his brother, Ray Gibson.
