Darin Cottrell, age 50, of West Lafayette, Indiana passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018. Memorial Services will be announced soon. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mr. Cottrell had lived in West Lafayette, Indiana for the past 14 years. He loved all animals. Darin was a wise man with many talents. Darin was a family man. He got up every morning and got a cup of coffee from McDonalds with 6 creams and 12 sugars and watched the news before he started running us all everywhere before he headed to work at Fast Eddies, which he loved. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing pool, cookouts & listening to music. He wrote poems, liked to draw and just create things, and you best believe everything he made had lights and color. He did all of his creations in his man cave which he was very proud of and spent a lot of time in there.
He always would help people out and would give you the shirt off his back if need be. He also liked collecting paper weights, old bottles, build and repair computers, and most importantly he loved making his famous & delicious Philly Cheese Steaks and Panzerotti's for everyone to enjoy!
He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Markeith Cottrell and Bryson Browning, a daughter, Alicia Browning, and his father, Herbert Cottrell. Survivors: Wife, Ronnie Cottrell; children, Onyx Smith, Olivia Ogden, and Julia Browning; grandson, Kamden Pylant. mother, Vivian Cottrell; brother, Herbert "Champ" Cottrell; niece, Kim and Dennis Blackwell and their children, Deanna, Neena and Alexa, and his beloved cat, "his homie" as he called him; Tony Stripey Malone.
