Daniel Wayne Stewart, age 67 of Marietta, GA, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015. He was born on May 1, 1948 in Pearisburg, VA to Donald Eugene & Mary Vest Stewart. He was a graduate of Giles High School, class of 1966, a Vietnam Veteran and a business owner in Marietta.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Eugene Stewart, his brother, Jeffrey Powell Stewart, his grandparents, John & Julia Vest and Tom & Ethel Atwell. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Stewart Mustard Albert; his wife, Jill Stewart, her daughter Megan Duck; son Austin Zachary Stewart; brothers & sisters-in-law, Gregory Gene & Lois Stewart, Steven Douglas & Tommie Lee Stewart and Cindy Stewart; nieces, Samantha Stewart & Amy Stevens; nephew, Mark Stewart.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 am at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, VA. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Atlanta Food Bank in Dan’s memory.
