Daniel Anthony Rowe (Danny) was born on September 1st, 2004 to parents Cleve & Helena Rowe in Brooklyn, New York. In 2009 they relocated to Kennesaw Georgia where he subsequently enrolled in Pitner elementary school. He later enrolled at Palmer middle school where he excelled and participated in the AVID college readiness program. Daniel then enrolled at North Cobb high school graduating in May of 2022. In the fall of 2022 Daniel began his college journey at Kennesaw State University as a marketing major.
Daniel enjoyed sports such as baseball, basketball, swimming, karate, gymnastics, weight training & soccer. At an early age he began playing T-Ball in the Kennesaw league. Eventually he graduated to playing baseball in the same league. After discovering his love for basketball he joined the Acworth youth league and subsequently the Cobb County league. He also played in the Amateur Athletic Union league which was interrupted by COVID.
A responsible young man Danny sought his parents permission to seek employment during his senior year of high school. He started as a host at Jumping World. Desiring upward mobility he began working as a stock clerk at Walmart. During his freshman year at KSU he started working at Race Track as a store associate. Seeking a more flexible schedule conducive with his studies, Daniel transferred to Lowes in the spring of 2023 where he was an employee until the time of his death.
Danny enjoy spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed the many family vacations of which cruising was his favorite type of vacation. He was an active participant at church, serving as an usher. Danny was an avid video game player and enjoyed driving. He enjoyed spending time with his many friends and was well loved by friends and family alike. He had a very special bond with both his older brother and younger sister.
Danny's final vacation was with his girlfriend Kamanny and her family, his first without his family to Myrtle Beach. On June 20th while swimming at Myrtle Beach Danny bravely saved Kamanny's younger sister caught in a rip current. However, he was pulled under. He sustained traumatic brain injury and was hospitalized until July 3rd when he had his final heartbeat.
Danny is survived by his parents Cleve & Helena, Siblings Tyrell & Haille, grandparents Dorothy & Theresa, unofficially adopted mom Nashonie, godparents, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
